Privacy Policy

Who we are

Sit Means Sit Dog Training of Westchester & Connecticut ("we", "us") is a dog training business at 4 Broadway, Valhalla, NY 10595. This policy covers sitmeanssitctny.com, our Dog Behavior Quiz, our forms, and the emails and text messages we send.

What we collect

Information you give us: your name, your dog's name, email address, mobile phone number, ZIP code, and your answers to the Dog Behavior Quiz or any form on our site. If you enroll or onboard with us, we also collect your mailing address, your dog's veterinary and care details, signed agreements, and photos of your dog.

Information collected automatically: the page you landed on, the site or ad that sent you (including UTM tags and ad click IDs), your browser and device type, and cookies and pixels described below.

How we use it

To build and email your Dog Behavior Report, to contact you about your dog and our training programs, to schedule calls and consults, to run and measure our advertising, and to improve our site.

If a quiz answer indicates a bite or safety concern, we use your contact details to follow up with you promptly.

Text messages

We text you only if you give consent on a form. On our Dog Behavior Quiz, text consent is optional and is not required to get your report. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help.

We do not share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with service providers that help us run the business, only for that purpose. These include our customer management, email and text messaging platform (GoHighLevel), our website host (Vercel), our payment processor (Stripe), our database and scheduling tools, and advertising and analytics providers (Google, Meta and TikTok) through the tags and pixels on our site.

None of the above includes text messaging opt-in data and consent. We do not share that information with any third party.

We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the safety of people or animals.

Cookies, pixels and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies from Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and Conversions API, and the TikTok Pixel to understand how visitors use our site and which ads lead to calls and sign-ups. These providers may receive your page activity and, when you submit a form, hashed contact details used to match the event to an ad. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad personalization in your Google, Meta and TikTok account settings.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in it, reply STOP to any text, or email info@sitmeanssitct.com to ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you. We respond within a reasonable time.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no online system is perfectly secure. We keep your information as long as needed to serve you and meet legal and business record requirements.

Children

Our site and quiz are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
